My Choice - Girl's Bible Study
Every tuesday, every week, it's the same routine that I could never get tired of. Attending Girl's Bible Study has not only strengthened me in my relationship with God, but has also helped me grow as a person overall. Although it does take time out of my day and restricts me from possible plans occurring within those few hours, spending time with girls who might as well be family to me and learning God's word is worth much more than any hangout or some extra sleeping hours. Sometimes it's hard to understand how I got into this position, what influenced me, how I was subconsciously compelled to dive into something, somewhere I was completely uncomfortable in. Regardless of those unexplainable decisions and whether they were irrational or not, I'm glad God used my friends and instilled in my heart to bring me here. <3

The environmental issue that this picture represents is the protection of the Redwood forests. The people who want to protect these forests want the future generation to see what these forests have done for our generation. The forests are the oldest and tallest on the Earth. Many people have cut down so many trees that only about 5% of the forest remains. I would try to learn more about this issue in California or Oregon because that is where the people who protect this forest are. They protect by buying the land that the forest is on so that no one can go there and chop down trees on private property. The people I would consult are people who care about the environment and care enough to spend their money on saving trees. Also I would consult sources like books and magazines about the environment, how to save it, and more about trees and the land that this forest is on.

The vietnam veterans memorial is a memorial in Washington DC. It is a hard and shiny wall with many people's names carved into the wall. They are carved in neat order and these names represent the service members who fought in the Vietnam War. The memorial was set up to honor these US service members who stood up for their country.
I would have to look up more about the history of this memorial coming about and how it is important to the world today. I would also have to research if there are any other parts to this memorial and if this memorial represents anything else other than the names of the soldiers who have fought in the Vietnam War.

This photograph demonstrates the Salvation Army workers in an act of benevolence. This word best describes their behavior and means that they are acting generously. They are acting this way to the people that have suffered through a natural disaster. They're actions demonstrate kindness and compassion towards their fellow human beings. The characteristics of acting benevolent are showing kindness in actions or giving for the sake of charity. These people are showing good citizenship by volunteering to help these people who have lost their things due to a natural disaster. By lending a helping hand and voluntarily showing that they care about other people, they are a perfect definition to describe the word benevolent.

Midterm Questions
One aspect of my paper that I am proud of is how I explained how to make the cookies. I feel like I explained exactly what you need to do to make the cookies very well. I think the directions are fairly easy to follow and the way I explained it can let anyone make them. I like this aspect of my paper because the explanations make the topic of the paper make sense and make the cookies possible to make.
The most difficult aspect of my paper was trying to explain what to mix it with. The material I usually mix it with is different from what other people might find easier to mix with. I usually use a fork or a big spoon but usually people use and electric mixer or something else but I don't know what people would prefer.
If I could fix it I would just research what people really use now and I would describe that in my paper. I would just look up what it is called and describe it.
I think if I could revise my paper now I would just add a few more details that were commented on the paper. I would add more description of what my teacher told me to add more of. Other than that I would leave it as it is because I received an A on it and only a few points were lost over the loss of detail in my paper.
